I just love this bold invitation. I've had a number of Afhgani clients this year and they really know how to do deluxe! This bride really wanted to make a WOW impression for her big wedding celebration at Atlantis The Palm Hotel & Resort on the famous Palm Jumeirah Island, a man-made island in the shape of a Palm frond. The interior decor of the hotel is absolutely amazing with lots of fun, bright colors of the sea, so this bride decided to go with oranges and corals for her wedding theme. While bright, modern, and cheerful, she also wanted to maintain an elegant look to her wedding, a lot like the bride herself! I designed this champagne dupioni silk box to blend both elegance and fun. This silk box has a bright orange satin belt to hold a pearl and crystal brooch on the cover, a keepsake gift for her guests. Inside the box is a coordinating silk folio with their custom monogram embroidered in that same bright orange. The folio holds two invitation cards for her henna night at the Raffles Hotel and her wedding at Atlantis. The cards are reversible with Farsi on one side and English on the other. They were printed on shimmery ivory cardstock in a variety of coral and orange colors and were accented with gold foil stamping for an extra special touch!

I want to share a lovely invitation I did this past year. It was for a beach wedding ceremony at the Ocean Blue Resort in Byblos, Lebanon. The bride chose a simple theme of fuchsia and white and wanted to use lots of simple color blocking. I designed this silk invitation panel using classic white silk and accented it with contrasting fuchsia ribbon. I added a touch of bling and voila! The custom monogram and graphics were designed, embossed and silver-foil stamped onto shimmery white cardstock to replicate the interior decor of all-white ballroom at the resort.

Hi there! My name is Natalie Elizabeth Andrés and I started Elizabeth Andrés Designs in 2009 to use my passion and experience in wedding & event graphic design to offer high quality and innovative customized invitations to brides and event planners here in Dubai and within the Middle East region! I'm so excited to start sharing my inspirations, designs and advice on wedding stationery with all of you here on this blog. With the rich cultural diversity found in Dubai, the mix of old and new, and the vast array of Western and Eastern traditions, no wedding, or wedding invitation for that matter, is the same! With my own personal multicultural background a mix of East, West, North and South, I constantly look to blend all these aspects together cohesively in both my personal life and in my designs. I hope you enjoy!
